Film Screening & Panel Discussion

Wednesday, January 13, 2021 | 6:30 - 8:45 PM

How does the food we eat and the way we farm impact the planet as a whole? Can better ways of farming and care of the living soil help reverse global warming and restore both human and planetary health?

NOFA-NH, Seacoast NH Permaculture, Stonewall Farm and North Shore Permaculture Collaborative presented a screening and panel discussion of a film that explores these vital questions and more. “Kiss the Ground” is a powerful new documentary that examines how regenerative organic farming and people’s eating choices can produce abundant food, reinvigorate the soil, fight climate change, and recharge local economies. At the same time, it suggests how such practices can heal our bodies, build community, and even foster biodiversity.

Kiss the Ground brings us so much great information, but also can only cover so much in one film. This post-film discussion helped expand the conversation even further.
