2023 Winter Conference

In addition to the informative workshops, panels and keynote the winter conference is full of fun activities and interactive networking opportunities. Enjoy informative displays at our green market fair, book signings, delicious lunch, collaborative art projects and more at this all day event! 

Green Market Fair

During lunch and at transition times during the conference meet with exhibitors and businesses that are actively involved in our local food system. Hear about ways to continue being involved, gain valuable resources that can help your business, or purchase a good from a local vendor. This is a great opportunity to collaborate and support organizations and businesses involved in our region. 


Book Signings

Organized by one of our conference partners MainStreet BookEnds, visit with authors and get a book signed. Kristin Kimball will be available to sign her books The Dirty Life and Good Husbandry during lunchBring your own copy or purchase one at the bookstore during the conference. 

Farmer Consultations

Have direct, semi-private discussions with farmer consultants who are knowledgeable on many aspects of farming and business management. These discussions are ideal for anyone with specific questions related to farming and want to learn more. Discussions are on a walk-in basis during scheduled times during the day. The farmer consultants are knowledgeable in various areas related to farming and business and eager to help you learn more and collaborate. 


Farmer to Farmer Gathering

Join host Vital Communities for a loosely facilitated discussion time with peers. Set aside some time during the busy day to catch up with each other or meet new people you can stay in touch with over the coming months. It will be a very flexible space to share experiences and stories with each other and make new relationships

Delicious Seasonal Organic Food

Morning Light Bites- Grab a small bite and beverage in the morning to get your day started. 

Lunch- Enjoy a crafted seasonal menu complete with vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options. Lunch is included with your conference registration. While eating lunch you can visit the green market fair right next door!

Refreshments- Throughout the day you can grab a refreshment at one of the various tables. 

Collaborative Art Project

Participate in a collaborative art project with Ink & Light! Share your story through block printing a custom portrait photo. You will be able to take art home with you! 

End of Conference Social

At the end of the day enjoy time with friends during a relaxing social hour with a cash bar. Celebrate the success of the day, meet with the keynote speakers, and enjoy the social time together as a community.

During the social join the NH Queer Farmer Network for casual conversation about farming, friendship, and how you can best support each other in the coming year. A designated space will be provided.
