Generation Farm is a certified organic farm specializing in wholesale salad greens. The farm is small and entirely operated by farmers James and Marley. In the fall the farm shifts to growing greens inside their greenhouse to continue supplying to their wholesale customers. In this workshop James and Marley will provide an overview of practices they use to grow greens in the greenhouses and techniques that have helped continue to successfully grow in the colder months. Rimol Greenhouse Systems will also be present to share some information on best practices with your greenhouse and the various options you can use for your growing situation.
Generation Farm is a small Certified Organic vegetable farm located on a forest hilltop in Concord NH. The farm was started in 2012 by young people looking to provide their community with fresh food farmed responsibly. Sustainability and responsible stewardship of the land is their goal. The Farm produces nearly all of our electricity through solar power and heat our barn with a wood pellet burner. Over 60 acres of diverse forest & wetland surrounding our fields are left untouched. The farm specializes in greens and offers them through wholesale.
