From assisting with annual Winter Conference planning to participating in the spring Bulk Order pick-up, serving on our Board of Directors or on the Policy & Advocacy Committee, our volunteers’ support is invaluable to growing New Hampshire's local organic farming community. Ways to Get Involved

There are many ways to support NOFA-NH’s mission and be part of the organic movement in New Hampshire. Whether you're a grower, educator, advocate, or just passionate about food and sustainability, we welcome your involvement and support.

Join Our Board of Directors
We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to apply to join NOFA-NH’s Board of Directors. We seek Board Members who: care about the environment, health and wellness, and community advocacy; are a skilled professional or farmer; and are interested in farming, gardening, cooking, food, and drink. The time commitment of Board Members is a 3-year term and approximately 4 - 5 volunteer hours per month. Learn more about our current Board Members here. Meetings are monthly and held virtually. Prospective Board candidates participate in an application and interview process.

Join Our Policy and Advocacy Committee
We welcome passionate volunteers to join our Policy & Advocacy Committee. This committee meets monthly to develop strategies that advance NOFA-NH’s mission through local and federal policy, advocacy, and community outreach. Members collaborate on projects, build partnerships, and respond to emerging issues in the public sphere related to organic farming, food systems, and environmental/social policy. The committee is made up of Board Members, staff, and NOFA-NH member volunteers. Meetings are held virtually.
