Soil Conservation & Conversation: No-Till Farming & Cover Cropping
Join us for a meeting discussing soil and nutrient conservation. Topics will include no-till practices for farms of all sizes, cover cropping in Northern NH, and best practices for nitrogen management.
This workshop is held in collaboration with NOFA-NH, as a demonstration event for the Windham County Conservation District’s Connecticut River Watershed Planning Project. A 50 lb bag of cover crop seed and a $50 stipend will be offered to all participants for the event. *Cover crop seed will be provided in the late summer/early fall.
Note: there will be a survey to fill out to put your name and mailing address for the stipend checks to be mailed to you.
