Farmer Listening Session: Connecting Organic Growers with NRCS Opportunities

Join us for a farmer listening session focused on helping organic growers better understand and access conservation programs through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Learn who to contact, the steps involved in working with NRCS, and how to navigate available conservation assistance and funding opportunities.

Presented by Catherine Coverdale of the Xerces Society and Colene Reed of Oregon Tilth, this session will explore conservation practices commonly used on organic farms, highlighting conservation opportunities that are particularly well-suited for organic producers in New Hampshire.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions about working with NRCS programs. Whether you are new to conservation planning or have previously participated in NRCS programs, this session offers valuable information and peer learning for organic producers across the state.
