Denise Morrison

Member of the Board of Directors

Denise Morrison’s love of agriculture began in greenhouses and grew through many years helping build and operate Maple Hill Farm in New Hampshire with her former husband, Mark, and their three sons. The farm was a true family effort, with their boys growing up in the daily rhythm of farm life and helping with the day-to-day operation of the farm over the years.

The Morrison family started milking cows in 1988 and transitioned the farm to certified organic production in 2003. Over time, the farm added a greenhouse and grew and sold annuals, vegetables, sweet corn, herbs, perennials, and USDA certified organic beef at their farmstand and local farmers markets, including Littleton, Woodsville, and St. Johnsbury.

Those years deepened Denise’s love for cows, organic farming, stewardship, and the local agricultural community. She is honored to serve on the NOFA-NH Board and looks forward to contributing to its work supporting farmers, strengthening local agriculture, and encouraging responsible organic practices in New Hampshire.
