Programs & Events
Support our Farm Share Program During Share the Bounty Day!
We're raising funds for NOFA-NH's 2022 Farm Share Program, which helps limited-income NH residents access certified organic CSA shares. You can help support this program in the following ways:
Share the Bounty Day
On Sunday, September 19th, dine in, take out, or shop with the Kearsarge Food Hub, Revival Kitchen & Bar (Sept. 18), The Works Café, and Warner Public Market. Partner businesses will donate a portion of their sales or a predetermined amount to the program.
Round It Up
Round up your change when you shop at the Monadnock Food Co-op throughout September to support our Farm Share Program.
Pizza With Purpose
Participate in a Flatbread Company Community Bake: Pizza With Purpose in Portsmouth on Wednesday, September 29th. A portion of each flatbread sold will be donated to the Farm Share Program.
The "CRAFT of Farming" Program
NOFA-NH's CRAFT program focuses on peer-to-peer learning and professional development in New Hampshire’s organic farming community. In six tours from August to September 2021, farmers, farm workers, and those interested in learning how food is grown will have the opportunity to learn from experienced growers and to build stronger social networks.
Tours include: Winter Street Farm (August 7), SHARA Vineyards (August 11), Winnipesaukee Woods Farm & Busy Lizzie’s Blooms (August 21), Mountain Heartbeet (August 28), Stonewall Farm (September 11), and North Family Farm (September 18).
Organic Gardening Workshop Series
Our "Feeding the Family" Organic Gardening Workshop Series offers tips for new and experienced gardeners seeking to feed themselves and their families. Learn about garden planning, healthy soils, pests and diseases, container gardening, building raised beds and much more in this 15 class gardening series!
Attend 1, 2, 3 or all classes in the series, weekly from February 23 to April 27 and monthly from June to October.
Thank You for a Great Winter Conference!
Thank You to our Speakers, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Staff, Board of Directors, and Attendees for helping us kick off NOFA's 50th year! The weekend made us feel connected, energized and inspired! Workshop recordings have been made available to all ticket holders. Please contact us if you have not received the links.
If you haven’t already, please check out our virtual Exhibitor Fair for product discounts, as well as our Winter Conference Book Store hosted by MainStreet BookEnds of Warner where you can get copies of the books by our author speakers and others. Both the Exhibitor Fair and Book Store will remain open throughout the year, and 20% of book sale proceeds will go back to support NOFA-NH.
